Texas A&M Opponent First Look: Louisiana Tech Bulldogs

On Saturday October 13, your #22 ranked Aggies head to Shreveport, LA to play the #23 Louisiana Tech Bulldogs in a game that was rescheduled due to Hurricane Isaac. Sonny Dykes has his Bulldogs ranked for the first time since 1999 and they currently hold the nation's longest regular season winning streak at 12. The Bulldogs are 5-0 on the year including road wins against the Virginia Cavaliers and Illinois. Who are the key players to watch this weekend?

Quarterback:

10 Colby Cameron 6'2" Senior is 123-180 for 1456 yards and 13 touchdowns with 0 picks. He is averaging almost 300 yards/game through the air and hasn't thrown a pick. I'm impressed.

Runningback:

28 Kenneth Dixon 6 foot, 211 lb. freshman took over for another talented freshman, Tevin King, when he tore his ACL against Illinois. Dixon has 445 yards rushing for an average of almost 85 yards/game and 8 touchdowns.

Patton is the stud on this high powered offense and is just as talented as Cobi Hamilton from Arkansas and Donte Moncrief from Ole Miss.

Kicker:

33 Matt Nelson Senior from Cibolo, Texas hasn't missed yet. He has hit 35 PATs and 7 FGs with a long of 45 yards.

Punter:

86 Ray Allen Senior and Oregon State transfer. Allen was a first-team All American and the Ray Guy winner in 2011. In 2012 he has 21 punts with a average of 46 yards.
