Last week's winner was texpdx who just missed the final score of Texas A&M 19 - LSU 24 with his/her prediction of 20 - 24 but needed the tie-breaker answer to win it all. The tie breaker answer to "How many failed redzone attempts will LSU have?" was zero (0); LSU entered the redzone twice and came away with a TD and a FG. The two runner ups, also with scores of one (1), but with tie-breaker answers of one (1) were: SECTAMU#1 and aggie_2463.
I really wish this game had turned out in favor of the Ags. I had some LSU guys at my worksite proclaiming that Johnny Manziel (who is not yet allowed to talk to media) was talking trash about the LSU Defensive Line. When I explained that he’s not even allowed to talk to media and where had they read this, they just said, "Uh, he said it, he’s dumb". Anyways, there were about 5 plays where if any one of them had gone the Ags way, we’d be celebrating a victory and probably a #11-14 ranking: Missed XP+2 Missed FGS; 3 Turnovers leading to 21 points for the Tigers, Ben Malena TD run called back for a chop block that really never was; ghost Pass Interference call that gave LSU a 3rd down conversion when they were pinned back (again) in their territory. Yuck.
On to this week's game versus the hapless and unlucky Tigers/War Eagles of Auburn...
