Slightly overshadowed by this week's feeding frenzy that is SEC Media Days is the news that Clay Travis reported yesterday about the rogue Alabama flag hanging from Kyle Field and the rumors of the culprit's ensuing termination. That culprit, according to Next Impulse Sports, is Alabama Native Bobby Livingston.
The Internet being the Internet, and Facebook being that particular part of the Internet (the one that you know you shouldn't really go to, yet just can't avoid...like watching a CFL game in July or slowing down to gawk at an old lady getting a speeding ticket), some anonymous GBH emailer was able to dig this photo up from last February.
Screencaps follow, in case of emergency.
The announcement was bold and straightforward: "Daddy" was in College Station, presumably to work construction on Kyle Field. What followed over the next eight hours were over 20 comments, including these from Bobby, revealing some possible activities that could occur in Kyle Field construction:
I'm gonna get em buddy
This stadium will never be ready for this. Season,I'm putting iron in backwards and wrong holing everything!!
(Thanks, but no thanks, Bobby. We've seen plenty of "wrong holing" already thanks to Alabama: it's called the Fran years and the Smoke Draw play.)
Amid much encouragement from Facebook friends:
Hell Yea. Be Damn sure to MARK your TERRITORY
Haha. Get em bobby
In enemy territory Give em hell
And of course, the inevitable sign-off:
Watch your back Bobby lol
As of this writing, the Facebook page has not been removed, and a picture of the notorious Kyle Field flag has even been added to the page profile.
Is this a different Alabama fan named Bobby Livingston who happens to be working Kyle Field construction? That's not for us to decide. But nonetheless...
