At the end of the day
So basically, 6 teams that were RANKED (various) ahead of the Aggies on Dec 7th lost their bowl games, while only 4 teams that were "Others receiving votes" won their bowl games. The implication is that the "Others receiving votes" are ahead of Texas A&M since Sumlin's squad did not receive any votes in the Dec 7th rankings...
In my opinion, Texas A&M would have to jump a couple of those teams, plus jump a couple of teams that are probably going to fall out of the rankings above... and we might be in.
