Taylor Hamm from 247 Sports reported last night that Kam Miles had been dismissed from the football team for a violation of team rules.
We've confirmed with sources that Kam Miles has been dismissed from the Texas A&M football team for violation of team rules. Huge blow.— Taylor Hamm (@TaylorHamm247) March 6, 2014
Miles, a four-star safety out of West Mesquite High School, had redshirted in 2013 but was expected to be in the mix for playing time in 2014. Miles immediately took to Twitter to apologize to coaches and teammates, but has since deleted his account.
This leaves us pretty thin at safety, especially since Miles' high school teammate and former verbal commit Dylan Sumner-Gardner flipped to Boise State in January.
