"Sidelines"

In 2001, corresponding with the 125th anniversary of A&M, A&M and ESPN agreed to a reality show called "Sidelines." The show was scheduled for 13 episodes, but A&M and ESPN had very different ideas regarding the content of the show. A&M wanted a show focusing on the football team and the related traditions. ESPN apparently was looking for a show closer to MTV style reality programing. The second episode featured drunk co-eds from Blinn Junior College and the third episode focused on a romantic relationship between two female athletes. A&M considered pulling the plug at that point. Does anyone remember this show? Is it available for viewing somewhere?
