Send the West side of Kyle out in a blaze of glory!

Like many Ags, I'll be sad to watch the west side of Kyle collapse into dust, but if we have to get rid of it, why not send it out in a spectacular (and literal) blaze of glory?

First, erect a t.u. frat house on top of the central elevator shaft, complete with Austin city limits sign. Then, in the seconds immediately prior to the implosion, set the press box completely ablaze. It would be like a quasi-Bonfire.

If the fire seems over the top or impractical, the t.u. frat house by itself would be easy enough to set up so we could watch it go down with the rest of the west side.

I had hoped that they would remove the KYLE FIELD lettering and A&M logo from the back of the press box, but as far as I can tell that isn't going to happen. And it's also a blow to tradition that the last remnant of the original 1920's stadium couldn't be preserved.

Perhaps one day a reproduction of the three-arched entrance to the old north horseshoe could be added onto or near to one of the stadium entrances, so the original stadium won't be completely forgotten.
