PHIL IN THE BLANKS. This is a slow and tortuous time of year, but at least we have arrived upon prediction season. First up, Phil Steele offers his preseason All-SEC teams. Mr. Steele provides a first, second, third, and FOURTH team, and while A&M is featured prominently, Steele neglects to mention both Deshazor Everett and puts Brandon Williams on the 3rd team ahead of Ben Malena, the Rodney Dangerfield of college football. He gets no damn respect. I mean...just look at this if you need any evidence he's better than Tre Mason or LaDarius Perkins.

I'VE HEARD THIS STORY BUT I STILL LOVE HEARING IT. Yahoo's Dr. Saturday is the latest college football writer to weigh in on Texas A&M's rise to the top of the Texas football landscape.
BOOMER SOONER. I never did develop the hate for the Sooners that I harbor for some of our old Big 12 foes, maybe it's because of things like this. Our SBNation brethren at Crimson and Cream Machine raised over $5,000 for victims of the recent Oklahoma tornadoes.
IF A GAME IS PLAYED IN AUSTIN AND NO ONE CAN SEE IT ON TV, DOES MACK STILL CLAP? Hopefully by now you are aware that the Longhorn's marquee non conference home game has been banished to the LHN, leading to much wailing and gnashing of teeth. Don't worry though, GBH will make sure everyone is informed of that game's results.
Have a great Wednesday, Ags. Hump it.
