Garrett, a top-10 player in the country according to 247Sports, is the prize and is the #1 player left on the Aggies' big board, in my estimation. The Ags are a longtime favorite for the consensus five-star and hope to get him to shut the process down this weekend.
Jarrett Johnson and Brandon Harris are both high on the Aggies, but I'm not sure the staff would accept a commitment from either player at this time. As talented as they are, the Aggies have options at their respective positions and would ideally like a little more time to evaluate.
Otara Alaka is down to A&M and Texas but I get the feeling the Longhorns are in the driver's seat at the moment.
Kevin Shorter is very high on LSU after a recent trip. It will be interesting to see how of the gap the Aggies can close on his second trip to College Station in a month.
