Yall, Benjamin Knox art is all good and fine, but at the end of the day, there are some much better and more interesting prints out there for you to decorate your office, guest bedroom or mancave. And for the love of God, please do not get a JFF fathead or frame a uniform unless you played for the school.
By far, the most interesting story ever about this guy, read the story here. But this quote summarizes it best, "When I came to College Station in 1998, when I saw that tree, I didn’t know how to draw a tree." My husband and I met him at an Art Festival in Ft. Worth and he was just such a great person that we HAD to get a print. There was no other question.
Great thing about these? They fit in IKEA frames. They also have series on other cities, stadiums etc. We have Rangers Stadium at our house as well... They are cool, accurate and just subtle enough that you could sneak it into the family room and no one would notice. For those of us who are already feeling the sadness of Old Army Kyle Field, here is one for you.
In closing, dont get a fat head, dont get a watercolor of JFF doing the "sprinkles", dont get a reveille with an eagle and "America the Free" airbrushed with an eagle (ok, maybe do get this...), and don't get one of the many stock photos with our friend Fletcher Massie in them.
