Coming off a rout of Sam Houston, the Aggies look to win 10 games in the regular season for the first time since the 1998 season. Now they shift their focus to Mizzou as they try to cap off a memorable season with a Heisman Trophy and a BCS bowl. The Tigers have had quite an embarrassing season and will need a win on Saturday to become bowl eligible. Their key players are:
The junior from Corinth, TX has battled injuries all year and missed three games as a result. On the season, he has completed 59.4% of his passes for 1562 yards, thrown 10 touchdowns and 7 interceptions.
The 195-pound senior from Rockwall broke the 1000 yard mark last week and has scored 11 touchdowns on 184 carries.
8 Marcus Lucas
The 6'5" junior is the Tigers leading receiver with 42 catches for 464 yards and 3 scores
The 6'6" true freshman was the nation's #1 overall recruit coming out of high school last year. DGB leads the Tigers in touchdown receptions with 4 to go with 340 yards on 24 receptions.
Sheldon was suspended for last week's game against Syracuse for violating team rules. The 6'4" 300-pound redshirt-junior is second on the team with 70 tackles, including 9.5 for a loss. He has 4 sacks and has forced 3 fumbles and recovered 2.
32 Will Ebner
A Friendswood native, Ebner leads the Tiger defense with 73 total tackles with 10.5 for a loss and a sack. The redshirt senior was given another year of eligibility after missing almost all of 2011 due to injury.
Another Texas native, the 6'1" senior leads the team with 2 interceptions and 3 fumble recoveries. Edwards has 45 tackles on the year with 5 coming for a loss.
The Tigers have had their share of kicking woes this season as well. The redshirt freshman has hit just over 68% of his field goal attempts this season but has also missed 2 PATs.
