The freshman receiver was last seen on Monday evening on campus in College Station.

The Texas A&M University Police Department has asked for assistance in locating wide receiver Thomas Johnson, who was last seen on campus on Monday, Nov. 12 at 5 p.m.

According to the university's press release, Johnson is described as an 18-year-old black male, 5'11 and 180 pounds, wearing a black jacket, black shorts and grey shoes and was also in possession of a set of "Dr. Dre Beats" headphones. The university has stated that Johnson may have returned home to Dallas, where he has friends and family.

From coach Kevin Sumlin:

"All of us are obviously very concerned about the safety and well-being of Thomas Johnson, who has been missing since Monday evening. Authorities are working closely with his family, friends and law enforcement agencies to help locate him. Thomas is a tremendous student-athlete, greatly admired by his fellow teammates and all of us on the coaching staff. If anyone has any current information about him or knows of his whereabouts, please contact his family or law enforcement authorities immediately. We pray for his quick and safe return."

Johnson, a freshman receiver for the No. 8 Aggies, was recruited out of Skyline High School in Dallas after originally committing to the University of Texas. Johnson has 30 receptions for 339 yards and one touchdown in 2012, catching three balls for 22 yards against Alabama on Nov. 10.
